XSide, a sub-brand of LC Waikiki, has prepared a joint collection with Pantone, consisting of 8 different colors. Those who can see colors can notice this collection. What about colorblind people? We wanted colorblind people who have difficulty in seeing and choosing colors not to be deprived of this colorful collection. With the reverse Ishihara test method, we have hidden a discount code that only colorblind people can see.
We all know about color blindness tests. There is a number there and if you can see it, you are not colorblind. These images are called the Ishihara test.
Also there are the reverse Ishihara tests.
If you are not colorblind, you cannot see the numbers in that image. We used these tests in our banner design. We created a discount code with the reverse Ishihara test image with 3 different numbers.
Color-blind people who can see the numbers and access the code were able to purchase the products in the Pantone Xside collection with a 5% discount.
